"THE ONE AND ONLY" - EMILY GIFFIN
Thirty-three-year-old Shea Rigsby has spent her entire life in Walker, Texas—a small college town that lives and dies by football, a passion she unabashedly shares. Raised alongside her best friend, Lucy, the daughter of Walker’s legendary head coach, Clive Carr, Shea was too devoted to her hometown team to leave.
Sadly, I found myself disappointed as I generally have enjoyed Emily Giffin's novels, but this book definitely left much to be desired. I had a sense of dread throughout but continued to the end just to find out how it would end. When I realized this was going to be about football and not being a fan of football, "I thought this had better be good for me to read this" and unfortunately I was disappointed. Not just football but the whole story just wasn't there for me.
