I LOVED, LOVED this book! I would say this is one of my favorites this year.
Tina's quote: The author made me feel like I was along for the ride as Lanie puts the focus on herself and what makes her happy. A great read for anyone that has looked and the mirror and wondered who they were in the midst of life.
This novel follows Ms. Center's core value of writing about women who are struggling with something, and embracing the imperfections and difficulties of life in a Brene Brown Rising Strong kinda way. She still has humor and insight blended together.
Marie's quote: I appreciated the fact that this was a story about a stay-at-home mom with a brain and a mission to bring meaning to her life. She has a true friend who supports her and accepts her for all her faults. Her husband loves her and although we do not see it at the beginning, he adores her. She comes to peace with her body and appreciates the beauty in women of all shapes and features around her.
